MethanCity: Dno spirály

After ten years, the world of the unique larp MethanCity came to life again! A world inspired by the book 1984 and a certain amount of hyperbole from the book Chapter XXII. Life in the world of hard totalitarianism, represented by the Party, was combined with hyperbole and sometimes exaggerated pathos.
This year's edition took place in the amazing cave complex Výpustek. The organizers prepared for us a truly amazing experience of playing in such a unique environment. The vast spaces of the cave and parts of a real military bunker became Mining City No. 79 for the whole weekend!

Finally, I would like to add that all the photos were taken within my role and within the framework of my game work, as a member of the propaganda department. So everything was taken on a small compact camera, not on a SLR camera. :-)

Cien Años de Soledad - 5th run

Cien Años de Soledad is probably my favorite larp I've ever been to. Cien has a unique atmosphere and when I heard that there was going to be another run, I didn't hesitate and wanted to be there. Cien Años is a unique experience and I am glad to be able to live with the people of Macondo and be a part of their stories again.

Opus Magnum - 6th run + 7th run portraits

Opus Magnum is a gothic horror larp that takes place in the Czech borderlands at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The game itself is only for six female characters. The game thus builds on silent fear and the atmosphere of an old abandoned house, where all the women have come to solve a possible inheritance, their relationships and especially grievances from the past.

Metroplex 2023 - 1st part

Metroplex is a post-apocalyptic festival held in the bunkers of the Bratronice Missile Base. The organizers did a greate job! It was simply a unique weekend as always - music, parties, lectures, art and bazaar. If you hesitate to come next time, I definitely recommend it!

Help from heaven - 10th run

Help from heaven (CZ: Pomoc z nebes) is larp depicting the small joys and great hardships of Czech-German coexistence just before the Second World War. Both the First and the Second Republic were replaced by the Protectorate. What will be next?

The Mrzácké války (the Crippels Wars) is a wooden battle organized in the area of the former rocket base of Bratronice. The units of The Unity and The Orphans have clashed for the second time.
The post-apocalyptic setting of the event comes from The World After The Fall (czech: Svět po Pádu). The World After The Fall is a phenomenal world that hardly remembers what it was like before The Fall. No one knows for sure what it was like before or exactly what The Fall really was. But what everyone know - today is everywhere The Dirt that kills and distorts all living ...

Legion: Siberian Story (14th run)

For the second time this year I went to Siberia. For the second time this year I spent with Czechoslovak Legionaries their stories, joys and sorrows. For the second time this year, I reminded the title song of the LARP that I love after all these three years. And in a next year I'm going to Siberie again!

Opus Magnum (betatest)

It offered me the opportunity to shoot on a beta test of the new horror LARP Opus Magnum. And I must say that I do not remember whether such darkness. Darkness, which gave the game a unique atmosphere!

Legion: Siberian Story (11th run)

Fot the 8th time I was again taking photo on excellent LARP, which has always a place in my heart - Legion: Siberian story. Again, I walked across Siberia with a Czechoslovak legionaries who wants to return to their homeland.

JunkTown 2016

The second year of a unique postapo Festival - the first festival of its kind in Europe! Former missile base Bratronice so for a long weekend became a place where they met fans of the post-apocalyptic world. There were concerts, lectures, workshops, larps and much more. This year even arrived and participants from abroad.


I am proud of what was created. The whole festival was organized with love and care by a group of about 30 people. I applaud them all and thank you, that I could participate in this great project as well.

Never let me go

Never Let Me Go is a LARP, which we know four years. It's one of the best chamber LARPs which we have here. If you have not played it yet, do it!

This run was organized by the Hraj larp. ("Hraj larp" is the Prague LARP festival.)

War of the Ring (Válka o Prsten)

War of the Ring is a new larp created by association Rolling, which you will already be familiar with. As you may have guessed already, War of the Ring is wooden-larp-battle that takes place in Middle-earth. On the battlefield is so classically clashed armies of Rohan, Gondor and the Combined armies of the north against the army of Mordor, the Army of the White Hand and hordes of the East.

Star Wars VII - premiere

Well-expected premiere of the film in Prague Bio Oko was worth it and I wasn't disappointed. Greate atmosphere, nice costumes of some participants and decoration, which organizers have prepared for us.

MethanCity: Event Horizon

LARP inspired by the book 1984. So there was distress, fear, insecurity and efforts to build a better tomorrow. Nothing more, nothing less. Either you work for the Party or be recycled or straight shot. The question of what is the lesser evil.

Cave Canem - 2nd run

Balkan and fairy tales! LARP Cave Canem in itself encompassed many fairy tales, stories and mythical creatures. Many of these creatures and stories I did not know.

Stalker 2015

After a two years break, I got back on Slarker - LARP, which is played throughout the whole week and is situated in military area. In addition, this year was even completed one big storyline. This storyline took the last several years to be completed! Yeah, it was nice to meet familiar faces again and return to the Zone.

GameCon 2015

"GameCon- the biggest festival of non-PC games"

Yes, this is the whole name of the event, which I attended and enjoyed a lot. And I must say that there was no chance to see everything I'd like. GameCon was literally crowded with awesome activities and it was hard to choose which I'd like attended.

Junktown 2015

Junktown the newly formed festival dedicated to everything that is hidden under the label "post-apo." This genre or style found its way to music, movies, photographs, paintings, larps and beyond. The Junktown festival then all these stuff collected at one place. Screening of the many post-apo films or hardcore music were commonplace. Then welcome addition to the need to snack of fried bugs (I tasted most of crickets). Then I could not miss even a proper larp battle or cruel postapocalyptic sport - jugger.

HZNMcon 2015

Ii was the first time I have got to this mini-larp-festival. Everyone was talking about, that HZNMcon is full of great people, friendly atmosphere and good mood. And I learned a very important thing - it's all true. :-)

Mad Max: Fury Road (premiere in costumes)

Great movie premiere at BIO _ OKO production by FutureGate. Overcrowded cinema and most of the people in super costumes! Lovers of the postapocalyptic genre and noisy car engines must be satisfied. And I was one of them !!!

In past when someone walked into the war, it was common to make a photo portrait - memorie for the family. To remember, who are on the front line fighting and risking their lives. I have used the photos to describe each character, and I believe that for some it worked perfectly.

This was the first year when I attended Larpweekend. It was an incredibly busy weekend - larps, many people, fun and emotions. Just imagine: for the whole weekend in four blocks happened incredible 32 larps!

BEST Summer course 2014 - Las Palmas (2nd part)

The third (and last) international course organized by BEST(Board of Europeans Students of Technology), which I attended. Venue on Gran Canaria and the theme of the course were clear reasons simply must be there! The theme of the course was to elaborate a project on the Vargas beach and suggest its possible use for the needs of windsurfers and kitesurfers.
It was the international student course, so it was natural that in the evenings and at night we regularly went to have fun and explore the nightlife of Las Palmas. ;-)

This fifth in a series of the Columns has finally become the first to which I managed to arrive. The event is set as the post-apocalyptic zombie survival LARP, so there is a lot of hungry zombies that you want to eat the survivals. Everyone (including me) had to watch his back!

Gothic LARP 2014

A year has gone by and was again time to visit the castle Tocnik and Gothic LARP. Unfortunately, I arrived just for one day and that day I was totally sick. I hope that I still managed to shoot enough photos that will make you happy. This year of Gothic LARP was much better than previous years. So this year Gothic LARP deserves a proper amount of photos that would capture it in all its glory.

Decay: The end of the path

Czech name of event: "Rozklad: Na konci cesty"

Decay is a new event that appeared on our post-apocalyptic larp scene. Decay was an all-weekend event that included night fighting and attacks of the infected. Among other things, the game was improved by the uncompromising attacks of the invaders with their infernal machines (of course, I'm talking about czech larpgoup called Riders).

Conference - argumentative drama

Very unusual larp setted on the idea of ​​large international summits. But here we are on the planet Astaka, which is located in another solar system, where a small portion of mankind escaped from Earth from the rule of androids. Big summit of the Great Tribes are held every six years. Now, however, the conference takes place four years earlier! It is necessary to face unexpected problems, establish new alliances and deal with the issue of electing the Great Tribe, which will rule planet Astaka for next period...

Several months passed and again we had a chance to enjoy this unique larp setted in the wild west. Again we heard the gunshots, the sound of hooves or sound of the piano in local bar. This time I could stay the whole time and it was really unique.

BEST Spring course 2014 - Zagreb (1st part)

Again, I was able to travel abroad on a unique international course organized by "BEST" (Board of European Students of Technology). In this case, the course was held in Zagreb. It was a unique 10 days!!!

Star wars V: Battle of Alderann

Small single-day battle LARP, which is traditionally held in Divoka Sarka and is set in the world of Star Wars. This was the fifth year of this event.

Wau, the time runs soo fast. This was the 9th year of this one-day LARP battle, which is organized by friends of mine.

Young lion - Terrarium Prague

The fourth "year" od this one-day battle, which is traditionally held in Kunratický forest. It was also the first year's event, which I went.

MethanCity: Front line 39

Literally luxury event! Airsoft battle with a great deal of RP, grenades, guns, homemade tank, the noise of explosions and helicopters... Army of Eastasia and Světostát clashed again - now on the Front line 39.

For the king and against the king XIV - Gang war

Another round of one-day battle that takes place in the Wild Sarka. This year was the usual battle complemented and enriched with several ideas which enchanted the game.

X-COM: New Blood

The third year of the very successful event, which was held in the White Carpathians in the village Žítková. The event was inspired by the cult computer game of the same name from 1993, where the Earth is under attack by Aliens.

De la Bete - 2nd run

Absolutely unique larp, which took place in the castle Valeč. Game organizers were very well prepared and they deserve it for all the respect. Just a pity that I could be there only for a day.

Gothic LARP VI: In the name of Adanos!!

This was the fifth year of fantasy battle inspired by the computer game Heroes of Might and Magic 5. I am glad that I had a chance to me there - it was worth it!

The first event of its kind, which took place on our campus. Silent Disco is a unique kind of disco, which brings with it many benefits. All you need is just to have a 400 wireless headphones. :-)

Open Day - A subway extension

A few pictures of "open doors day" in the extended part of the Metro line A. The tour began at Veleslavín and ended at Vypich. For this one day on the subway came to see the construction of 17,000 onlookers.

Finally another edition luxury event, which this year was held at the Curia Vítkov. The game conducted continuously over night and the following day. I'm looking forward to next year!!

The first year's "Night of universities" that freely accepts the idea of Museum Night and Night of churches. A fun and interesting way to present many things from different feilds of study to public. Part of this event was held at FCE CTU, so the members of Acamemic Senate helped with the organization of this event.

Czech name of this event: "Pán Prstenů - Bitva o Středozem 2011"

The 2nd biggest larp battle in the Czech republic. In addition, this year it boasts the 20th anniversary, so it's the oldest events in our country !!!
I have to say that this year the organizers have given really matter and it's really worth it!

ZombieWalk 2011

Next year of very well known Zombie Walk is here! This year's number of participants reportedly exceeded the number 930. It has to be said that the rolling mass of hungry zombies was this year much bigger than last year...

Odraz 2.11

Odraz is conference about Czech LARP. This year, 4th annual, was organized by czech group MadFairy, but there were also participants from abroad. Big impression on me did the Norwegians with their many years of experience.

Kostaf 2011

Kostaf is the international student conference. Student senators of six Civil engineering faculties from the Czech Republic and Slovakia - Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Bratislava, Žilina and Košice. In addition to addressing current topics and have time for a day trip, a sport and a bit of alcohol.

Battle of Westfold 2011

Czech name of this event: "Bitva o západní úvaly 2011"

A few Rohirrims were all night and day resisting attacks of the orc hordes. Shouting slogans martial mingled with the cries of the wounded.
This luxuriously-designed event took place at the fort Curia Vítkov.

Dresden - an architectural trip

The fourth architectural trip organized by my classmate Mery and me. Our current aim was Dresden. Despite the large unexpected neo-Nazi demonstration turned everything well. :-)

Painting in Telc 2010

Week long painting course in TelČ has been focused on architectural drawing and study. More than once we managed to unpleasantly cold and rain. but we are despite the bad weather drew a lot of nice drawings and paintings.

Summer School of Dance 2010 - Ledeč nad Sázavou

After two years, I am finally returning back to the dance floor.
Now can start the known fight with the rhythm of slowfox, "carrying the weight" of rumba and "sharp steps" of jive...
